Homicide Suspect Arrested
At approximately 0830 on June 30, 2017, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a suspicious person near 13th and Rice Road in Jefferson County. Deputies responded and located Pedro Enriquez-Corral Sr. Those same deputies recognized him and knowing there was an outstanding warrant for 1st Degree Murder, they were able to make an arrest without incident.
Pedro Enriquez-Corral Sr. was transported and booked into the Jefferson County jail on his warrant. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office notified the Topeka Police Department that an arrest had been made and the PT Cruiser the suspect was associated with had been located. Officers and Detectives of the Topeka Police Department assisted the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office with the processing of the area where the PT Cruiser was located.
Pedro Enriquez-Corral Sr. was transported back to Topeka to speak with Detectives and then booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections.
